At Doodl AI, your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using Doodl AI, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Info: Your email address and password (used for authentication and account recovery).
  • Payment Information: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Doodl AI does not directly collect, store, or process full credit card numbers or banking information on our servers.
  • System Logs: The text prompts you enter and the generated URLs, kept for internal troubleshooting and platform functionality.
  • Usage Data: Your credit balance, transaction logs, and basic generation status data (success/error logs).
  • Technical Information: Basic technical information (such as error logs, browser types, or usage statistics) to maintain and improve the app.
  • Cookies: We use necessary functional cookies to keep you logged in and securely manage your session.

2. Image Data & Third-Party Processing

  • Original Uploads (Temporary): When you upload a sketch, reference, or photo, it is processed via third-party AI services (including Fal.ai and OpenAI). Your original uploaded files are automatically deleted by these providers shortly after processing (typically within ~1 hour). Doodl AI does not permanently store your original uploads.
  • Internal Logs: We retain a history of your text prompts and the URLs of your generated images in our secure database strictly for internal system operations, troubleshooting, and debugging. Because the image files are automatically deleted by our processing partners within ~1 hour, these retained URLs quickly expire, ensuring your visual data remains temporary.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services to operate the app, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Fal.ai (media generation), and OpenAI (text and reasoning). Your data is shared with these services only to the extent necessary to run Doodl AI.

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate the app and manage your credits.
  • To process payments securely through our third-party payment partner.
  • To provide customer support, troubleshoot failed generations, and send critical account emails.
  • To maintain security, monitor for errors, and prevent abuse of the platform.
  • We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and system logs as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

5. Security

We store your login information, credit balance, and system logs in a secure, encrypted database.

While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry best practices to protect your data from unauthorized access.

6. Your Rights

  • You can request complete account deletion at any time by contacting us at support@doodl-ai.com.
  • Deleting your account will permanently erase your email, credit balance, text prompts, and transaction logs from our active database.
  • You can view your core account information (email and credit balance) directly within the app at any time. For formal data access inquiries regarding your complete account data or system logs, contact us at support@doodl-ai.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Doodl AI is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. International Data Transfers

Doodl AI operates globally. Your data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside of your own depending on the server locations of our third-party infrastructure providers.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page or by sending an email notice.
