Terms of Service

1. Using Doodl AI

• You will not use Doodl AI for illegal, harmful, or offensive purposes.
• You are responsible for anything you create or upload.
• You may not misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt, scrape, automate, or reverse engineer any part of Doodl AI.
• Doodl AI employs automated safety filters to prevent the generation of explicit or harmful content. You may not attempt to jailbreak, obfuscate prompts, or actively bypass these safety filters. Doing so is grounds for immediate account termination.

2. Accounts & Credits

• You create an account with your email and password.
• Credits are used to generate images.
• Credits are consumed immediately upon the successful technical completion of a generation request. Due to the unpredictable and experimental nature of artificial intelligence, we do not offer refunds, credit reinstatements, or do-overs if a successfully generated image does not meet your subjective artistic expectations or contains visual artifacts. However, if a technical error prevents the image from generating entirely, your credit will not be consumed.
• Credits are non-refundable unless required by law.
• We may change pricing, credit amounts, or features at any time.
• Payments for credits are processed securely through our third-party payment provider, Stripe. Doodl AI does not directly store or process your credit card information. Before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card provider, you agree to contact our support team first to attempt to resolve the billing issue.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Doodl AI.
• By accessing or using the app, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.

4. Ownership of Content

• You keep any rights you already have in content you upload and are responsible for having permission to use it.
• By uploading content or entering text prompts, you grant Doodl AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process, transmit, and store this data solely to generate your requested images and operate the service.
• Subject to third-party model terms and applicable law, you also hold the rights to images generated through Doodl AI.
• Doodl AI does not claim ownership of your uploads or generated results.
• All rights to the Doodl AI platform, including its design, features, and branding, remain the property of Doodl AI.

5. Image Processing & Data Retention

• Image generation is powered by third-party AI services, including Fal.ai (media generation) and OpenAI (text and reasoning).
• Uploaded original user images are automatically deleted by third-party processors (like Fal.ai) shortly after processing, typically within ~1 hour. Doodl AI does not permanently store your original uploads.
• Doodl AI retains your text prompts and the URLs of your generated images securely in our internal database strictly to assist with system debugging and operation. Because third-party processors delete the image files within ~1 hour, these retained URLs quickly expire and cannot be used to access the generated visual content.
• We do not guarantee how third-party services handle data beyond what is stated in their policies.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• Doodl AI is provided "as is" with no guarantees.
• Medical & Scientific Disclaimer: Doodl AI is an artistic and illustrative tool. Generated images are not for diagnostic purposes, clinical use, or medical advice. Doodl AI assumes no liability if a user relies on generated imagery for scientific accuracy, patient communication, or medical decision-making.
• We are not responsible for damages, losses, or misuse of generated content.
• The service may be unavailable, interrupted, or changed at any time without notice.

7. Changes to Terms

• We may update these terms at any time.
• Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

8. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to Doodl AI at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.

9. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

10. Responsibility & Indemnity

• You agree that you are responsible for your use of Doodl AI and any content you create or upload.
• You agree not to hold Doodl AI liable for any claims, damages, or legal issues arising from your use of the service.
